How we handle copyright concerns about content shared through PARA services.
Reporting infringement
If you believe material on PARA infringes your copyright, email legal@paramx.social with the following information:
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
- Identification of the material you claim is infringing, including enough detail for us to locate it (for example, a link or post identifier).
- A good-faith statement that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- Your contact details.
- A statement under penalty of perjury (where required by law) that your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.
We may remove or restrict material consistent with law and policy. We will notify the user who posted the material when we act, unless prohibited by law.
Counter-notice
If your material was removed and you believe it was a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice to legal@paramx.social with:
- Identification of the material that was removed and where it appeared.
- A good-faith statement that you believe the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your contact details and consent to jurisdiction.
Repeat infringers
We may suspend or terminate accounts of repeat infringers where appropriate.
